Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
During todays K4 – 5th grade chapel, Mrs. Mobley’s 1st graders prepared a special presentation for all to see. Students, teachers, friends, and loved ones all gathered to witness an international showcase.
Collectively, students researched more than 10 countries and created poster boards featuring the country flag, capital city, and more. Students also dressed in attire that represented their country. The presentation featured cultural greetings from each country, pictures, and each countries primary religion. Followed by this showcase, students sang their favorite praise songs and performed a liturgical dance.
Mrs. Mobley ended the presentation with an unforgettable message:
We don’t become a Christian by making disciples, but once we are in Christ, You are a disciple. The question is: who are you following? You have disciples. How are you influencing the people watching you? Every one of us —young or old, believer or unbeliever —is engaged in some form of discipleship. Every one of us follows someone, and every one of us carries significant influence over someone else.
Great job, Mrs. Mobley and 1st graders!
